Vignettes

Vignettes are small works, often sketches or exploratory pieces for something larger and more in-depth. They can be short, descriptive literary devices, a single idea being dissected. I began making these “vignettes,”  taking a single humdrum item and raising its stature, exalting them.  Similar to a reliquary, but without pomp and gold; instead, these items are surrounded by their environment.
